We are planning a series of open talks for engineering leads, architects and product teams, and we would like to hear what you would find useful before we fix the programme.
StatusDates, venues and speakers are still being confirmed. Register your interest and we will email you as soon as the first session is announced.
What to expect
Each session is a short, practical talk followed by open questions. No sales pitch, and no slides full of logos. The aim is that you leave with something you can use on Monday.
- Format. A 45-minute talk and a Q&A, with time to talk to the speakers afterwards.
- Audience. Engineering leads, architects, senior engineers and product managers working on software products.
- Where. Online and in person, so teams in different time zones can join.
Topics we are considering
- Java microservices in production. Boundaries, resilience, events and observability. A live version of our article.
- Agentic AI in a delivery team. What to automate first, and the guardrails that keep it safe. See our write-up.
- Scaling an engineering team. When to add people, how to onboard them, and what remote collaboration really needs.
Help us shape it
If there is a topic you would like us to cover, or you would like to speak, tell us. We would rather build the programme around real questions from real teams.
